Message to Patients
During the Covid-19 emergency your GP practice, like the rest of the NHS, is prioritising patient care. To minimise administrative work, all GP practices locally are requesting that you (and other members of your family) do not seek to re-register with another GP practice at this time. You should only ask to register with a new GP practice if:
- You, and your family, have physically moved to a new house and are now living in a new GP practices area
- You have a new-born baby, or a newly adopted baby or child
- You are a first degree relative of a currently registered patient who has returned to live with their family
- You do not currently have a GP, and need to register with one
If you have moved to a new house, but remain within your current GPs practice area, please do not re-register with a new GP practice at the present time, even if you intend to do so in the future.
Please do not seek to register with a new GP practice unless one of these four reasons apply to you.’

The Forest Row Practice started in 1876 at "The Elms", the house which stands opposite the health centre.
In 1968 it moved across the Lewes Road to a house on the present site, which was demolished to make way for the present day health centre which opened in 1982. The old oil street lamp at the entrance to the health centre formerly stood outside "The Elms" and was lit nightly by the doctor's coachman to guide the patients to the surgery.
Now electrified, it continues to serve the same purpose more than 100 years later.
There is one group of seven doctors working as a non-limited partnership and you may ask to see any doctor, although you will be registered with a specific GP for administrative purposes. You and your family will be asked to complete the registration forms.
The Health Centre is open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6.30pm. We are also open alternate Saturdays 8.00am - 1.00pm.
Online Prescriptions, Appointments & Access to your Medical Record
We use systmonline for ordering repeat prescriptions, booking appointments and for you to view your medical record summary online. Before you can use this service please contact reception to register for it. If you have already registered and wish to login, please click the systmonline logo above.
If you are a user of our previous online ordering system (Emis) your user name and password may still be working, if you find it is not, please contact reception who would be happy to assist.
